The antique market is a competitive one, and the auction method is often the best way to obtain the maximum prices for your prized pieces. An antique is defined in the dictionary as anything over 100 years old. Well, that might have been true in the past, but today antiques can be defined differently. There are items that we sell that are from the early 1700's, and then there are items that are just as desirable, if not more so, that do not fit in the "100 year rule".

To the new internet buyer or collector today's antiques provide a very wide field. Yes, we have sold various items, from the tavern table that came across the Appalachian mountains, to the historical documents from the northern Virginia (now west Virginia). We have also sold star wars items, baseball cards from the 1960's and 70's, and even the first apple computers. There are buyers for all of these items.

The market is the buyer, and the buyer dictates the market. over the past several years we have sold a large number of items from a large array of fields and have found that only a buyer can set the market. If your company has found that it is very necessary to market in a large area we will need to locate the buyers needed to make the auction a success.
